Being a romantic husband

It took Him decades to make up His mind.In the silence of His Heart He asked"Is it really compulsory? ".

Jasper,an assistant pastor(not financially stable)to a nearby ministry has been praying for years that He may remain righteous. Of course,any one that sees him would believe he is already close to the gate of Heaven.

A God lover,Public Speaker,custodian of God's word and above all Papa prayo.In his late 30's he has never thought of getting married because of His love for God(After all Paul said it's not compulsory nah).

Finally,one beautiful morning God spoke to Him through a revelation and specifically told him to go propose to Sis.Jennifer that it is time for him to get married.

Every Christian woman definitely want to get married to a believer like Pst.Jasper and without hesitation she prayed and gave him an answer within a month.

In less than 4 months they were happily married. Pst. felt that he needs to be committed to the ministry and ignores all affection and care towards his wife.

She confronted him one morning saying 'Baby,you don't make me feel like a woman at all'.In loud voice he said to her 'Souls are perishing and you want to feel like a woman',he slammed the door and left.

She cried all through the day.After much discussions and confrontations she decided to stay calm and pray to God hoping that something positive will happen.

In one of her vulnerable state,her old time lover (first love)visited her compound (public yard) and met her.They both screamed and hugged each other.After series of discussions, they exchanged contacts and he left.They kept on talking and before the cock could crow twice,emotional feelings creeped in.

Her attitudes changed automatically but before the christian lady could realise what was happening,they were already drowned in the ocean of love and you know the other part.

Now Jasper's eyes were clear enough to see that his obedient,respectful and calm wife has gone wild overnight.He cried to God and blamed God.He said"I asked for your will in marriage because I don't want anything that would stop me from serving you".At that moment it might seem God has turned deaf ears.

It is not just about you asking for God's will in marriage (off course it's very important)but be willing to make your marriage work.

Women are not designed to be cheats in marriages but situations can affect a woman.That doesn't mean ladies can't overcome temptation oo.

Be willing to receive God's will but remember "Being romantic can help to fine tune rough edges in marriage".

God gave you a life,commanded you to love/Serve/Obey Him and also gave you a wife/husband.Never let one slack else all will tilt to one direction.
